“Moose Creek Drifters” features a cow moose and her twin calves in beautiful Teton National Park,  WY
I utilized numerous photos of her grazing with her calves in the meadows just below Jackson Lodge.  The bull moose, “Formidible”, kept watch over the scene.

It took me 15 years and numerous sketches of the family – some in snow, some with wolves stalking in the background, etc. – before I finally got this idea for a setting after finding a photo of swans on a lake in a photography magazine.  It appropriately captured the quiet scene in a dramatic way befitting the moose family.
