The Judge”, Is an oil painting by K. Witherspoon, featuring James T. Ayers (now deceased) of Aurora, CO. Judge Ayers started as a justice of the peace, holding court in his basement, and became the judicial administator and presiding judge of the Aurora Municipal court. He died April 15, at the age of 86.
