I painted “Focused”, my second polo painting, while earning my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Colorado. We live near the Columbine Polo Club where I spied the club’s pro and his pony while driving home from our son’s school.
Always with my camera, I jumped at the chance to get a number of shots. It took me a little over two years to complete the painting and was finished the same year that I graduated from CU.
In 2020, It was selected as the feature image for the Las Vegas Polo Classic and their Lamborghini sponsor.
