“Bathed in Sunshine”, an oil painting by K.Witherspoon, features a grove of exceptionally large aspen that grow outside Telluride, CO.

“I used two of my photos, one taken of the bottom of this tall tree the other taken of the top half.  I then taped the two photos together to resemble the height of the grove. In this manner I more easily see if the outcome could produce a painting that would capture the sunny essence of this beloved Colorado tree.”
